Rifenburgh is an internationally recognized, award-winning poet. His work has appeared in Paris Review, The New Republic, Southern Poetry Review, Western Humanities Review, New Criterion and other fine journals. He has received the Natalie Ornish Award from the Texas Institute of Letters, the Robert H Winner Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America and other awards. He lives with his family in Houston, Texas.
