I finally read the book! I love it!
My grandkids loved your book! My two year old grandson absolutely adored Chase. He reached out to touch each picture. I read the book two or three times to him and his 5 year old brother. Still when it was bedtime, it was the first pick for the usual bedtime reading by their Daddy.
The same thing happened with my 6 year old granddaughter. First I read the book to her, then she read it to me! But when it was time for bed, she too chose it for her Dad to read at bed time.
But the exciting thing was that just knowing that I knew the author encouraged her to try writing a book herself. We spent the next two days working on a book, writing and illustrating her ideas. She now wants to write a whole series and she has some great ideas that we will try to keep working on
I love the book! The look and feel are alive and inviting. I was surprised at how the message struck true in my own life. How we allow fear of the unknown to stop us. What a great message to teach young children as they grow, that with God all things are possible and He equips us to do what He designed us to do. A lesson we're never too old to be reminded of.
Robin grew up in Ohio but now lives in Vancouver, Washington. She is a mother of six children and grandmother of two. One of her favorite times as a young mother was reading fun books to her children, so she hopes this book is fun and inspirational for both the reader and the listener.
