Kurt's interest in printing began in high school when he published a newspaper in his garage. He later expanded to commercial printing in 1976 and then book printing in 1988. He loves to play the drums and ride his motorcycle.
After working with Kurt in his printing business for many years, and successfully raising a family, Norma earned her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught ESL in Alaska, Washington, Taiwan and Turkey.
Garrett grew up and studied on the east coast, earning a Bachelor's in Art History and Theory from Alfred University in New York. He enjoys philosophy and believes everyone should continue to learn something new every day!
Kari handles her accounting duties with ease. She lives in Littlerock with her husband and two young boys, her interests include decorative sign painting and crafts she sells at various events, Sudoku and racing Mustangs.
Kathy loves the collaborative process and bringing a book to life. When not plying the waters of Puget Sound in her kayak, or hiking mountain trails with her husband, she is exploring a new recipe or reading a good book.
Champion of the bindery, and a lifelong Washington State resident, Karrie has been married for 17 years and has two kids. She enjoys watching sports, her son's baseball games and NASCAR, crafting, card making, and spending time with her family.
A newcomer in the northwest, Colin originally hails from sunny San Luis Obispo, California, where he earned his bachelors in English. In between backpacking excursions, his hobbies include competitive ballroom dancing and fiction writing.
Born and raised in the northwest, Catherine enjoys spending time with her friends and family and anything outdoors including hiking, snowboarding, skydiving, and everything in between. She believes in living life to the fullest by trying new adventures and meeting new people!
Candace moved to the PNW in 1998 after getting her B.A. in English Literature with a minor in History. She previously lived in Portland, where she owned and operated a professional pet-sitting company. Candace enjoys writing fiction and crocheting and loves her cat and labelmaker.
Jennifer graduated with a degree in Creative Writing. She writes creative nonfiction, gardens incessantly, and likes to embroider birds. When she isn't at work, you can find her at the bookstore scouting out new volumes of poetry.
